Making A Two Piece Set (using a thrifted bed sheet!)

I'm currently in Bali on holiday with my family and a few months ago I started looking for a matching skirt and top set to take with me. I couldn't find anything, so I decided to make it myself. I'm obsessed with colour, especially red, but struggled to find the perfect fabric that wasn't going to cost through the roof or made from a material like polyester. So, you can imagine my sheer delight when I went thrifting back in June and found a ruby red bed sheet at a charity shop - it was perfect! And made from cotton. I took it straight home and got to work.
