Upcycled Buttoned Vests
As you may know I'm currently in Bali on holiday with my family and when I started thinking about what I wanted to pack in my suitcase, I remembered I had thrifted two vests for $8 last year and I knew they would be perfect to take with me. But, there was a little problem with them so let's quickly rewind. It all started when we stumbled across an antique store on our way home from a weekend in Brisbane over a year ago and I found a container of gorgeous vintage buttons for a couple of dollars. Not long after, I thrifted a black vest and a navy blue one, too. But it didn’t occur to me to put two and two together until I realised I hadn’t worn my thrifted vests since I bought them. I didn’t like the old buttons on either vest and a quick button update was all that was needed. Watch below to find out what happens next...
