Gingerbread Dollhouse Renovation Part 3 | Walls, Floors & Ceilings

If you want to renovate a dollhouse, listen up.

I’m renovating a secondhand dollhouse into a Gingerbread Dollhouse (that looks good enough to eat) for my kids this Christmas. There are so many things I learned along the way and I’m here to share everything so you end up loving the process, without tearing your hair out. I worked on the floors, walls and ceilings and thank goodness I had my RYOBI power tools by my side (their Glue Gun is your new dollhouse renovation hero!) otherwise this would have been a major FLOP.

To learn how I applied the wallpaper, made 8 different floors and ceilings, including the notorious herringbone pattern, updated 2 fireplaces, added new walls, skirting boards and cornices, board & batten and tiles, including links to the tools and materials I used, head over to my YouTube channel and watch this video I shared on Instagram. For Part 4 I’ll be working on the miniature furniture. Wish me luck - I’m going to need it!

My Gingerbread Dollhouse Renovation Series is in collaboration with RYOBI Australia

Stay tuned for Part 4 where I tackle the tiny furniture and decor! If you’ve missed Part 1: My Plans and Part 2: The Exterior, head over to my YouTube Channel to watch my Gingerbread Dollhouse Renovation series. And if you’re feeling inspired, let’s do this renovation together!
